Danish artist Jens Haaning makes interventions that directly engage with and test political, geographic, and social borders. Haaning's projects typically relate to immigration and the condition of the "foreigner." For Inset, a poster designed by Haaning (Arabic Joke, 2002), displaying a joke written in Arabic, was posted in the gallery with an english translation, and anonomously at various outdoor locations around Houston.
